Tamekia Swint is a social entrepreneur, author, educator, speaker, wellness coach, and the Founder and Executive Director of Styles 4 Kidz.
Her work focuses on purpose, leadership, identity, belonging, textured-hair education, faith, wellness, and the creation of meaningful social impact.
Through Styles 4 Kidz, Tamekia has championed culturally responsive textured-hair education and support for foster, adoptive, transracial, and biracial families. Her work as an educator and advocate explores the important relationship between hair, identity, confidence, dignity, and belonging.
Tamekia is also the author of Your Hair Is Your Crown and creator of Body Breakthru, a Christian wellness community focused on helping women pursue sustainable healthy living through faith, mindset, education, accountability, and practical lifestyle change. This is her passion project.
As a speaker, Tamekia brings together personal storytelling, practical teaching, faith, and lessons learned from building a mission-driven organization to inspire audiences to recognize their calling, take meaningful action, and create lasting impact.
