Meet Tamekia Swint
Tamekia Swint is a speaker, author, educator, social entrepreneur, and Christian wellness coach. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Styles 4 Kidz, a nonprofit organization that serves children in foster care, transracial adoptive and group homes, and underserved communities by providing haircare services, resources, mentorship, and confidence-building experiences.
Tamekia believes that some of our greatest assignments are born from the problems we are willing to help solve. Her work spans textured hair education, child welfare, faith, wellness, and personal development, and it is all rooted in one conviction: that every person has a purpose worth pursuing.
She is also the founder of Body Breakthru, a Christian wellness community helping women develop sustainable healthy habits, renew their minds, strengthen their faith, and pursue healthier, purpose-filled lives. Tamekia brings over 20 years of experience in hair care, whole body wellness, and entrepreneurship to encourage, motivate, and inspire every audience she is called to.

Body Breakthru is a Christian wellness community Tamekia began in 2014 to help women develop sustainable, healthy habits, renew their minds, strengthen their faith, and pursue healthier, purpose-filled lives. Tamekia coaches from a place of lived experience in her weight-loss journey and her battle with MS. She knows what it means to struggle, to start over, and to finally break through.
